Solitary Plants

Our solitary plants are top-quality shrubs or trees that have been transplanted at least three times at intervals of no less than two and no more than four growing seasons and have enjoyed extra wide spacing. They usually come as multi-stem plants with branches down to the buttress.

Taking local conditions into account, the Lorberg nursery cultivates all solitary plants growing in Central Europe. Of particular note are our numerous Syringa species and varieties, our conifers, countless fully grown large solitary trees, some of them multi-stem plants of top quality and not to forget our large number of botanical specialties.
